i founded saltadena in 2016 when i was working out of my home kitchen,
making mostly wedding cakes as well as some smaller celebration cakes. While I loved this work, I had always dreamed of owning a brick & mortar location where anyone could come in and buy one of my baked goods without having to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars.
In August 2019, Saltadena Bakery & Cake Shop found its new home at 111 W Holly in Downtown Bellingham. Since opening, it has been such a privilege to engage with our community in a much more inclusive way. My mission with Saltadena is to provide nothing but joy through food and positive human interaction for the customers we serve.
